Jealousy

Jealousy eats you from within.

It gets soaked by your skin.

It is dark venom.

This poison is a grave sin.

To our bodies it's a misfit.

It attacks our wit.

It murders philanthropy.

It causes atrocity.

It'll cause your virtues to cease

and they will stink like blue cheese.

Your sanity you won't remember.

Your soul it will dismember.

It will give you a kiss

but do remember it's hiss.

It is indeed a black snake

belonging to a polluted lake.

Once jealousy enters your system

Your salvation will be at stake.
