Living to eat

I will speak of Mister Hound.
He is obese,plump and round.
He is indeed a foodie
but he's not at all broody.

He lives only to eat.
With him no one can compete.
He will rashly spend his wealth.
He won't focus on his health.

His belly is his master.
This fact is a disaster.
Food alone can satisfy him.
His geed is vast as a brim.

Food alone appeals to him.
He'll eat in moments of glee and grim.
Hound never follows a diet
and he knows that it's not right.

Life's not just all about food
and with this I'll now conclude

God is love St Paul teaches us that God is the same Yesterday, today and forever. God doesn't change. Love doesn't change. If it does change, it was never love. St John tells us  that God is love. God sacrificed for us Therefore, love demands sacrifice  As Gold is purified in a furnace. Our love for God gets tested in the furnace of suffering.

I don't know God

 I do not know the God who reigns in heaven. I don't know the God whom nations fear. I don't know the God whom you call King. I only know the God who dwells in our heart, who is near to those who call on him and who makes haste to help. GOD is a parent to the orphan. He's a child to the childless. God's a friend to the needy. To a widow, he is a spouse. To the homeless, he's a house. God is someone from whom nothing you can hide. He's your husband. You're his bride.
